Our K–12 Learning Pathway

A personalized, small-class education with a clear academic pathway from early years to Advanced Placement.

Our Approach

  • At Newbridge Academy, we believe that strong education is not one-size-fits-all.

  • With small class sizes and a personalized approach, every student is supported, challenged, and truly known by their teachers.

  • From early foundations to advanced academic pathways, we guide each student step by step toward confidence, independence, and university readiness.

K–1 Foundations

  • Building confidence, curiosity, and core skills

  • In the early years, we focus on literacy, numeracy, and social development.

  • With close teacher guidance, students build strong learning habits and develop a love of school in a supportive, nurturing environment.

Grades 2–3 Exploration

  • Strengthening skills and developing independence

  • Students begin to take greater ownership of their learning while strengthening core academic skills.

  • Individualized support ensures that each child progresses with confidence.

Grades 4–5 Development

  • Expanding thinking and academic depth

  • Students develop stronger critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

  • Small class sizes allow teachers to both support and challenge students at different levels within the same classroom.

Grades 6–7 Pre-Advanced Pathway

  • Early academic acceleration begins

  • Beginning in Grade 6, students enter a more structured academic pathway.

  • With enriched curriculum and higher expectations, students begin preparing for advanced studies.

  • Personalized learning plans allow students to move ahead in key subjects such as Math and English.

Grades 8–9 Honours & Pre-AP

  • Bridging to advanced academic programs

  • In Grades 8 and 9, students have access to Honours-level and Pre-AP courses.

  • These courses are designed to build strong academic foundations, critical thinking, and study habits required for success in Advanced Placement (AP) programs.

Grades 10–12 AP & University Pathway (Launching 2027)

  • Preparing students for top university pathways
